Jim Riley is Pro-Second Ammendment and will work to:
· Promote the enforcement of reasonable laws.
· Promote gun safety (Gun Control is using the eight steady hold factors)
· Reduce unreasonable restrictions on this right of the people.
· Protect the right to bear arms.

Jim Riley is for Economic Growth and will work to:
· Fight for FAIR Trade instead of FREE Trade (We shouldn't always have to come out on the losing side of every trade agreement).
· Punish countries that 'cheat' at trade with the United States (currency manipulation, illegal subsidies, restrictive trade).
· Reverse the harmful policies of NAFTA & GATT on working people.
· Promote policies that can be helpful in creating jobs.
· Restore budget discipline in Congress.
· Cut deficit spending and help create surpluses.
· Encourage Home ownership and affordable housing.
· Cooperate with business, but not at the expense of working people.
· Seek out experts and meet with them on a regular basis.
· Tax companies that move jobs and manufacturing to other countries specifically to build infrastructure, and improve education).

Jim Riley is Pro-Civil Rights and will work to:
· Repeal the ‘Patriot Act’ and any assault on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
· Attack racism and religious bigotry.
· Promote ALL of the rights in our Bill of Rights.
· Bring common sense back to the arena of Homeland Security.
· Promote civics, common courtesy and patriotism in our schools.
· Slavery is illegal and immoral. WE should not have relations with countries that allow or even promote slavery at any level.
· The United States of America should promote the cause of Freedom and Liberty around the world.

Jim Riley is a Small Businessman and Proud Capitalist and will work to:
· Promote business for American companies, based in the U.S.A., with American workers.
· Promote transparency and responsibility in corporate accounting.
· End corporate welfare and taxpayer bailouts.
· Promote tax credits and investment support for small businesses.
· Promote tax incentives for responsible energy production.

Jim Riley is Anti-Crime and will work to:
· Crack down on gangs, drug kingpins and drug cartels.
· Cut off any and all support for any foreign power involved in the drug trade.
· Support our local, county, state and federal law enforcement authorities.
· Support local crime prevention programs.
· Promote DNA testing & post-conviction reviews in all serious criminal cases.

Jim Riley is Pro-Education and will work to:
· Make college tuition tax deductible.
· Promote lower costs and more access for our children to earn a higher education.
· Support lifelong, distance, and online learning.
· Make sure that Accountability is a key to public school success.
· Promote Reductions in class size, modernized facilities, and hiring new teachers.
· Fight to keep and even build on the Pell Grant Program and Student Loans, against those who want to end affordable education.

Jim Riley is for a strong American foreign Policy and will work to:
· Bring our troops home from Afghanistan, where we are spending about $2 billion a week.
· Enhance relations with Japan, S. Korea, India, and continued support for Tibet and Taiwan.
· Fight unfair trade with China, which uses prison/slave labor to compete unfairly with US workers.
· Promote better US-world relations with our allies.
· Examine areas where we may cut back on foreign aid when our economy is suffering.
· Reform the U.N. to end abuse, unfairness, and pro-abortion attitudes.
· Seek to get our allies to help pay for our troops stationed around the world, which would help our budget.

Jim Riley is for reforms in Immigration law and will work to:
· Use biometric data to better track foreign travelers.
· Strengthen and enforce penalties and sanctions on employers who use undocumented aliens.
· Close down businesses that continue using undocumented aliens.
· Prosecute employers using undocumented aliens under existing laws for human trafficking & slavery.
· Deport violent criminal and gang affiliated aliens without question
· Support and strengthen the border patrol with occasional military patrols when necessary.
· Find a path to at least register aliens already in the country.
· Educate and integrate the good people into our society, with compassion and understanding.

Jim Riley believes in American business and the American worker and will work to:
· Help create jobs that stay in America.
· Change tax system to not encourage shipping jobs overseas.
· Protect workers’ right to organize.
· Strengthen safety net for family farmers.

Jim Riley thinks we should keep our promises to the elderly and will work to:
· Protecting the promise of Social Security is absolute, we are not going to kick grandma out on the street.
· Bar practice of keeping retirement funds in company and affiliated stocks.
· Oppose privatization and oppose raising retirement age.
· Strengthen Social Security for Baby Boomers.

Jim Riley is a little bit of a tech nerd or geek, and will work to:
· Encourage technology with funds for R & D, with tax incentives.
· Promote NASA and all areas of scientific research to make America number one in the world again.
· Vigorously support federal highway and transit initiatives.
· Use R&D and technology to grow our new economy by spurring businesses to grow.
· Support the Electronic Bill of Rights to protect privacy & kids.
